01Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Nido (“Nido,” “we,” “us”), the AI home-planning service available at mynido.io. By creating an account or using Nido, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Nido.

If you use Nido on behalf of a household or organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for them.

02Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use Nido. Nido is not directed to children.

• You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for all activity under your account.
• Keep your login credentials secure. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider; you are responsible for safeguarding access to your email and account.
• Tell us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

03What Nido is (and is not)

Nido helps you plan, furnish, budget for, and move into a home. It generates checklists, suggests products, estimates prices, tracks what you own, and lets you collaborate with people you invite.

Nido is a planning and organization tool. It does not provide professional interior-design, financial, legal, insurance, or safety advice, and it is not a retailer — purchases happen on third-party sites under their own terms. You are responsible for your own buying, budgeting, and moving decisions.

04Your content

“Your content” means everything you add to Nido — your homes, rooms, items, budgets, style preferences, notes, and any photos you capture or upload.

You keep ownership of your content. You grant Nido a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce, and display your content only as needed to operate and improve the service for you — including sending the relevant context to our AI providers to generate your results, and showing your content to collaborators you invite or to people you share a link with.

You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to add it. Do not upload content that infringes someone else’s rights or that you are not permitted to share.

05Acceptable use

When using Nido, you agree not to:

• break the law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, or upload harmful, hateful, or explicit content;
• probe, scrape, overload, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass the security or rate limits of the service;
• misuse the AI features — for example to generate abusive content, or to prompt-inject or extract non-public system instructions;
• resell or commercially exploit the service without our written permission, or use it to build a competing product.

We use automated and manual moderation and may remove content or limit accounts that violate these rules.

06AI features and no guarantee of accuracy

Nido uses AI to suggest products, generate checklists, recognize items in photos, and answer your prompts. AI output is generated automatically and can be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date.

Product names, images, prices, and availability come from third parties and may be wrong. Always confirm the details, price, and specifications on the retailer’s own page before you buy. Nido is not responsible for third-party product information or for purchasing decisions you make based on AI suggestions.

07Product links and affiliate disclosure

Nido is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program and may use other affiliate networks. This means Nido may earn a commission when you click a product link in the app and make a qualifying purchase.

Affiliate commissions never change the price you pay. We do not control third-party retailers, their websites, prices, or fulfilment, and your purchases are governed by their terms, not ours.

08Third-party services

Nido relies on third-party providers for authentication, hosting, storage, AI, product data, analytics, and email. Your use of Nido also involves these providers, and links in the app may take you to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for third-party services or content. The providers we use are listed in our Privacy Policy.

09Nido’s intellectual property

The Nido service — including its software, design, branding, logos, and content we create — is owned by Nido and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Nido for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the service except as these Terms allow.

10Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. By using Nido you acknowledge that policy.

11Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Nido is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that AI output or product data will be accurate.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nido and its providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Nido in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.

12Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Nido and its providers from claims, damages, losses, and costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or of any law or third-party right.

13Suspension and termination

You may stop using Nido and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if needed to protect the service or other users. You can request deletion of your account and data by emailing [email protected]. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — such as content licences you have granted for shared data, disclaimers, liability limits, and indemnities — will continue to apply.

14Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the “last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Your continued use of Nido after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that the state and federal courts located in Delaware will have jurisdiction over any dispute that is not otherwise resolved, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have where you live.
