Delete your Nido account

Last updated October 21, 2026 · Questions? [email protected]

You can delete your Nido account and the data that goes with it at any time. Here is how, and what happens to it.

Sign in to the account you want to delete, then follow the steps below.

Sign in to delete your account

01How to delete your account

  • Sign in to Nido, on the web or in the app.
  • Open Settings, and under Account & security choose Delete account.
  • If other people share a home you own, choose for each one whether to give it to one of them or delete it.
  • Type your email address to confirm. We email you to say the deletion is scheduled.

02The 30 days before we delete

Your account is locked as soon as you confirm, and we stop sending you marketing email and notifications. 30 days later we delete it. Until then you can sign in and choose Keep my account, and everything will be as you left it.

03What we delete

  • Your sign-in and profile: name, email address and picture.
  • Every home you own and don't hand on, with its rooms, items, budgets, bins, scans and photos.
  • Your style profile, saved picks, notifications, push devices, email preferences and survey answers.
  • Your place in homes other people own. Those homes stay with their owners; comments you left there stay, signed with your name only.

04What we keep

A record of each email we sent you — which email, when, and whether it was delivered — for up to two years, as described in our privacy policy. If an email to your address ever bounced or was reported as spam, the address stays on our do-not-email list so we never write to it again.

Homes you hand to a collaborator are theirs from then on, with everything in them.

05Can't sign in?

Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we will delete it for you.
